Ethan

We were out picking up sticks on one of our beautiful February days and I coerced Ethan into one of our big oaks for a little photo shoot. It's hard to find a picture of him where you can see his whole face, he's not making a funny face and there's no food on his face.

T-Ball tryouts

Ethan is the youngest player on his team, the Yankees. They're learning how to bat, catch and throw along with the basic rules of baseball.

Heidi - February fun

Heidi is growing and changing so quickly these days. I occasionally still see a baby when I look at her but she's definitely developing. She's a babbler and a squawker but still no "words". She loves to watch Ethan at T-Ball and has quite an arm on her! Her favorite things to do right now are drag her baby around in the stroller, "cook", make monkey lines with the barrel of monkeys game and make coaster stacks. She's also started showing interest in coloring.

January fun

The kids got an art easel for Christmas and that and the kitchen from last years Christmas pretty much occupy their indoor play time.

I know she looks upset here but she's totally faking - as you'll see in the next picture...

Reading to Heidi

Heidi LOVES to accessorize. Necklaces and bracelets are daily wear for her.

She also loves her head bands and hair flowers now too.

Swim class

Ethan is doing GREAT in his swimming class. He's moved up to Dolphin 3 now. His class is working on learning actual swim stroke styles. He and two other little boys swim together once a week and their teacher does a fabulous job wrangling the three of them.

Christmas afternoon 2010

We always head down to my Mom's in the afternoon on Christmas day. We open our gifts and eat too much and just generally have a fun and relaxing afternoon. Here are a few pictures of the kiddos enjoying the day.
