OK - I know it doesn't look like a tiny owie... Ethan's refusal to wear pants, his desire to run away and the fact that he's still relatively new at running culminated in a skinned knee. After cleaning and pressure the bleeding wouldn't stop so I decided to put a band-aid on it. As you can see that didn't work. The scrape was too wide for a regular band-aid. The bandage I came up with is just a neosporined 2 inch gauze square taped to his knee. However, Ethan's whole knee is only 2 inches square and the tape job had to withstand his little fingers, so the result is that it looks like he has had a major injury.
The bandage has been off now for a few days but every time he looks at his knee he says
"tiny owie"
