A day at Nana's

Having a fresh baked cookie at a deli while waiting for the ferry. We missed the 2pm departure by about 43 seconds so we had to wait until 3:40.

After we checked out of the Idaho timeshare (see previous post) on Friday we decided to head up for a day (and 2 nights) at Nana's house on Kootenay Lake in B.C. It was only about 100 more miles and Chris didn't have to work until Tuesday morning. We had to take the ferry to get there - which Ethan loved!! He is still talking about it a few times a day. Saturday we took Ethan to Ainsworth hot springs which we enjoyed more than he did. He had a good time, don't get me wrong, this kid LOVES water. The "hot" pool was a bit too much for him and the "warm" pool didn't quite soothe the muscles for Mommy and Daddy. We had to take turns so that we could each have our time in the "hot" pool. We had a nice visit (too short though), and hope to see Nana again soon.
