Pregnancy update

I'm totally slacking on my updates for you!! My ultrasound went really well last week. The new official due date is October 31. This is only one week over what it "should be". I'm not sure how accurate the due dates are though. It sorta seems like they take a guess and it's usually fairly close-ish. I'm having some trouble getting the pictures to scan though so if anyone wants to see them let me know and if we're getting together I'll bring them along.
We did have a BIG scare the evening after the ultrasound though. I had a massive headache for most of the day and started cramping in the evening. This all led up to a lot of bleeding. I, so unlike me, majorly panicked and had my sister on her way and Chris up and dressed before I decided to call the doctor (while in hysterics). The doctor basically said that it's one of two things either of which they can do nothing for. One would be miscarriage and the other would be a small tear of the placenta. Since the bleeding was significantly less in a few hours and had all but stopped completely within 2 days they think it's the latter. Also the baby looked so healthy and wiggly in the ultrasound they seem to think it's fine. I was put on "rest", whatever that means, of which I tried to do my best considering Ethan is a very busy boy. The rest was just to make sure that any tear is fully healed before stretching that area of the placenta again. I've since gone on a couple walks (we went to the Lava Beds for the weekend(post to come)) and moved a little firewood without too much problem. I am still having the occasional cramping, which scares me back onto the couch to rest, but for the most part I seem much more concerned than my doctors do.
I know it's a little early, but my doctor said he wouldn't be surprised, I've been feeling the baby move a little for about a week and a half now. No dramatic kicks or anything but little flutters now and then!!! Apparantly everything happens sooner with the second baby. I already cannot button or even zip up my jeans and I'm already feeling the little one wiggle!!!

So glad that your ultrasound went well! Scary to have an episode like you did afterwards...glad that everything seems to be okay.
